I just had my first COVID-19 vaccine today. I received the Moderna vaccine. It was painless, and was done within a few minutes. I’m currently waiting for a period of 15 minutes, just to make certain I don’t have a reaction to the injection.
I’m happy to have received the vaccine today. In my state, they held off vaccinating people who are immunocompromised until after a lot of others got their shots. It was a huge disappointment. It makes me think that our state public health officials don’t realize how many people like me are walking among us. We have to work and be out in public just like everyone else.
